Original Signed Bernard Fouchet Oil On Canvas Still-Life Painting In Frame *Nice Piece* - Born in 1932 in France, Bernard Fouchet's works are on permanent exhibit at Chetkin Gallery and have been shown all around the world. Though the fruit, baskets, musical instruments, and elaborate vases in his paintings are technically referred to as "still life," his bold approach to the canvas with lively, vivid colors and contrasts defies the term. This piece by Fouchet is an original, oil on canvas painting. It is in great condition, with no damage to the canvas and the colors of the paint still beautiful and vibrant. The painting is signed "B. Fouchet" in the bottom right corner. The piece is in it's custom, hand-painted frame, with Fouchet's initials "BF" carved into the bottom, front of the frame. The frame also has the artist's initials on the back in three places. The piece (including the frame) measures 17"x15" (approximately).
