TOBY KNOBEL FLUEK (1926-2011) STILL LIFE O/C

Toby Knobel Fluek, Jewish-American (1926-2011). Oil on canvas, signed lower left and titled "The Green Pail" on verso. A well-known artist, author, and Holocaust survivor, Toby Fluek emigrated to New York in 1949 after escaping from her native Poland during the Nazi occupation. Much of her work resides in the permanent collection of the Florida Holocaust Museum.
