Florschuetz, Thomas u.a. Künstlerhilfe für Sarajevo. Sieben signierte Künstlerpostkarten mit einer Titelpostkarte. Berlin, herausgegeben anläßlich der Aktion von der Stiftung Neue Kultur, 1994. Je Karte 16,5 x 12,5 cm. Je recto oder verso signiert, verso typographisch bezeichnet. Eines von wohl nur 100 signierten Ausgaben der auf ingesamt 1000 Stück limitierten Edition. - Enthält Karten der Künstler: Thomas Florschuetz, Nan Goldin, Jenny Holzer, Ulrich Kühn, Pina und Via Lewandowsky, Martin von Ostrowski und A.R. Penck. - Initiiert wurde die Spendenaktion von 15 europäischen Kulturstädten mit der Idee, den Opfern schnelle und gezielte Hilfe zu leisten. - Sehr gut erhalten. Seven signed artists' postcards with a title postcard. Each signed either on the front or back, typographically inscribed on verso. - One of presumably only 100 signed editions of a total of 1000 copies. - Contains cards by the artists: Thomas Florschuetz, Nan Goldin, Jenny Holzer, Ulrich Kühn, Pina and Via Lewandowsky, Martin von Ostrowski and A.R. Penck. - The fundraising campaign was initiated by 15 European cities with the idea of providing rapid and focused aid to the victims. - Very well preserved.

Preis für junge europäische Photographen in Frankfurt am Main verliehen wurde. Seither mit zahlreichen weiteren Preisen und Stipendien ausgezeichnet, ist Florschuetz seit 2007 Mitglied der Akademie der Künste, Berlin. There are dust marks visible on the negatives due to the enlargement process. The linen cover is a bit rubbed and stained. The size of the sheets is 49.8 x 49.8 cm, while the cover measures 51 x 51 cm. Thomas Florschuetz (b. 1957) Thomas Florschuetz, who was born in Zwickau, moved to East Berlin in 1981, where he had his first exhibition in 1983. In the end of the 1980s he gained recognition for his images of body parts. Since 1988 his works have been regularly exhibited all over the world. He later moved to West Berlin, followed by stays in New York and Brazil. In 2000, he was active as an ‘Artist in Residence’ in California. Florschuetz has been honored with numerous prizes and awards. In addition to his body pictures, the artist's oeuvre includes monumental flower pieces, images of fighter jets and architectural photographs.
