Die Tanzstunde; Empfang des Kavaliers. 2 Kupferstiche mit Radierung nach Pietro Longhi. Je ca. 45,5 x 35,9 cm. IFF 3 und 4. Wz. Armbrust. Die Blätter 3 und 4 aus einer insgesamt acht Blatt umfassenden Folge "Scènes de la vie vénetienne". Ausgezeichnete, gleichmäßige Drucke, IFF 3 mit Rand, IFF 4 mit sehr feinem Rändchen um die Plattenkante. Schwache Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, verso leichte horizontale Mittelfalz, IFF 4 mit leichten Falzspuren, IFF 3 mit kleinem Randeinriss unten mittig, oben winzigen Heftspuren sowie links ein geschlossener Randeinrissan der Mittelfalz, sonst gut erhalten.

Empfang des Kavaliers. Kupferstich mit Radierung nach Pietro Longhi. 46,2 x 36,4 cm. IFF 4. Wz. Wappenkartusche mit Initialen "FV". Blatt 4 aus einer acht Blatt umfassenden Folge "Scènes de la vie vénetienne". Ausgezeichneter, gleichmäßiger Druck mit schmalem Rändchen um die Plattenkante. Die Ränder minimal bestoßen bzw. leicht unregelmäßig, geringfügig fleckig zu den Rändern hin, sonst sehr gut. Beigegeben von Antonio Faldoni ebenfalls nach Pietro Longhi eine Radierung.

SI AGGIUNGE: Charles Joseph Flipart (Parigi 1721- Madrid 1797), Mentre la vaga e leggiadretta Clori/Col piede snello nuovi vezzi apprende/Tessendo inciampi e incatenando i cuori/Mille lacci a se stessa incauta tende. 1748. Da Pietro Longhi. Acquaforte e bulino. mm 455x360. Foglio: mm 473x370. Il francese Charles Joseph Flipart, si era formato a Venezia sotto la direzione di Giambattista Tiepolo e dell'Amigoni, nel 1770 andò a Madrid, dove lavorò come pittore di corte e incisore. Terza da una serie, probabilmente di otto tavole, raffiguranti scene di vita veneziana; le prime quattro nel 1748 furono tradotte da Flipart da invenzioni di Pietro Longhi con versi scritti dal dottor Pinalli di Padova. Nel 1749-50 due tavole furono aggiunte ancora da Flipart su disegni propri, ed in seguito, nel 1751 circa, ne furono aggiunte ancora due ad opera del Bartolozzi. Si evince la numerazione "x.3" all'angolo inferiore destro. (2).

Beigegeben von Charles-Michel-Ange Challe die Radierung "La mort d´Hercule" in einem Probedruck vor aller Schrift, sowie ein weiteres Exemplar des Blattes im zweiten Zustand.
