        Portrait of Peleg Savery (1764-1849) with his flintlock rifle. Signed by artist and dated lower right, 1848. Savery was born in Carver, Massachusetts and engaged in iron manufacturing. 30" x 25"; good condition, no frame. Provenance: Descended in the family and was in the Savery homestead until recent years.
