H. 34 cm, 36 x 20 cm. - Expertise: Hand-written certificate by the artist (copy) from 2001; Invoice by Glasgalerie Hittfeld from 2001 (copy). - Provenance: Glasgalerie Hittfeld, Eliska Stölting; Private collection, Hamburg. - Czech sculptor and glass artist, educated first at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Prag, then 1953-1959 at the College of Applied Art in Prague, 1960-1966 freelancing sculptor, since 1971 freelancing glass artist. First active as classic sculptor Fisar moved to the medium of glass. The relation between space and glass is of central importance in his work. Jan Fisar is represented in numerous private and public collections.
