Bound by Riviere & Son in full calf with gilt in compartments to spine, labels in gilt, boards ruled in gilt, and gilt dentelles. Front board detached and minor wear at extremities, else a clean and Very Good example. ****** First Edition of this important American satire. This poem was a sensation at the time of printing and was so eagerly sought that copies were sold at a premium within a short time of its publication.
