    KENNETH FAGG (1901-1980) Pin-up girl in white bikini and straw hat. Gouache on board. 455x150 mm, 18x6 inches, image, on 30 1/2x22 1/2-inch board. Matted and framed to 34x30 1/2 inches. Exhibited: New Castle Historical Society, Chappaqua (with undated label). Fagg was a prolific creative who worked as a director for 20th Century Fox and was a commercial illustrator in the 1930s and 40s, working for Life, Saturday Evening Post, Holiday, and other publications. He gained fame for his work on the world's largest geophysical relief globe, exhibited at the 1958 Brussel's World Fair and would go on to co-found Geo-Physical Maps, Inc. which became Rand McNally.
