Date: 1978 Description: The artwork depicts an idyllic landscape with scattered red roofs spreading across a green meadow. The background reveals a dense forest that emphasises a quiet, rural scene. The harmony of nature and architecture is impressively emphasised.     Manuel Espinoza Piel de Zapa; Seven Male Figurative Studes; Two Male Figurative Studies (three works) 1974 and 1975 oil on canvas; pen and ink with watercolor on paper 38 h × 26 w in (97 × 66 cm) Signed, dated and inscribed to lower edge of two works 'Para Joseph Espinoza 74' and 'Para Joseph Espinoza 1-1-75'. Provenance: The artist | Estudio Actual, Caracas | CDS Gallery, New York condition: Slight depression to upper left quadrant of oil on canvas. Work is slightly loose on stretcher in corners with some minor hairline cracking and faint stretcher mark along upper edge. Works on paper are in good condition and have not been examined out of frame. Two exmaples framed together under Plexiglas measuring 17.5 x 25.25 inches. Other example framed without glazing measuring 39 x 27 inches.
