He was professor of theology in Cologne and Mainz, in 1641 last catholic bishop of Hertogenbusch, in 1645 archbishop of Cambrai and at the peace congress of Münster envoy of Philip IV of Spain. Christian Espagne (Berlin 1794 - Münster 1838) was a German lithographer and lived in Münster (Westphalia). There he founded the first lithographic institute. In addition to commercial prints (maps, forms, etc.), portraits make up a large part of his work, e.g. the " 60 portraits of the Gesters assembled at the Peace Treaty of Westphalia". Friedenschluß" (1821-27). Person: Joseph de Bergaigne (1588 Antwerp - 1647 Münster) Was a Franciscan, Bishop of 's-Hertogenbosch, Archbishop of Cambrai and Spanish envoy at the negotiations for the Peace of Westphalia.
