On the reverse is the collection stamp "A.R" (Lugt 4401). Date: 1799 Description: Erotic portrait of the sleeping Pasithea. The mythological figure of ancient Greece is one of the Graces and is regarded as the servant of the goddess of love Aphrodite. The edges of the sheet are untrimmed and soiled in places as well as damaged by individual tears and bumps. There is a large diagonal crease in the upper right corner. Particularly on the sheet margin in places slightly soiled and somewhat creased. The image makes a very good impression.

Puissions nous effacez[?...]" Condition: Very good condition. The paper slightly discolored due to its age. The sheet is foxed in places. The corners of the sheet minimally scuffed. Slightly creased on the lower margin with minimal damage to the edge of the sheet. Slightly wavy and bumped along the upper edge of the sheet. Slightly visible horizontal crease on verso.
