        Münchner Bürger-Garde. - Ellmer, Peter. "Musik der Bürger-Garde der Haupt- u. Residenz-Stadt München". Kolorierte Lithographie. Blattgröße 33,5 x 40,5 cm. München, Hermann und Barth, um 1825. -- Pfister 815. Vgl. Winkler 183, 9 (dort nur eines der seltenen Blätter, Nr. 43). Nicht bei Maillinger, Lentner und Proebst. – Sehr seltenes Blatt "No XXXXIV", das die Münchner Bürger-Garde zeigt, eine Kapelle von 17 Musik und einem Dirigenten, der oben rechts den Takt mit seinem prachtvollen Marschallstab angibt. Ihm folgen die Holzbläser mit Oboe, Piccolo, Klarinette und Fagott, sodann das Blech mit Trompeten und Hörnern sowie Posaunen. Den Schluss bilden die Perkussionisten mit großen Bauchtrommeln und Becken sowie einem Standartenträger in der unteren Reihe links. -- -- Das Blatt stammt lt. Angabe bei Pfister von dem aus Regensburg stammenden, in Freising verstorbenen Maler, Graphiker und Lithographen Peter Ellmer (1793-1872), der 1818 nach Oberbayern gezogen war, wo er in Haidhausen bei München eine Werkstatt betrieb und sich 1846 in Freising als Dekorationsmaler niederließ. – Auf sehr schönem, tonigen Büttenpapier, an den Rändern leicht ausgefranst, leichte Knitterspuren und mit Knick unten sowie Mittelfaltung, linker Rand mit kleinem Farbabklatsch, sonst kaum fleckig oder angestaubt, insgesamt sehr schön, in frischer und recht exakt aufgetragenem zeitgenössischen Kolorit. Bis auf Pfister nirgendwo in den Bibliographien oder Bibliotheken nachweisbar.
