A SET OF THREE LITHOGRAPHS OF ST PETERSBURG BY ANDRE DURAND (FRENCH 1807-1867) , ca. 1842 colored lithographs 24 x 35 cm (9 1/2 x 13 3/4 in.); 25 x 39 cm (9 7/8 x 15 3/8 in.); 23 x 35 cm (9 x 13 3/4 in.) framed dimensions: 44 x 54 cm (17 3/8 x 21 1/4 in.) [each] all signed in plate, one dated in plate LOT NOTES Andre Durand was a French draughtsman and lithographer who traveled across Russia, visiting Kronstadt, St Petersburg, Novgorod, Tver, Moscow, Sergiev Posad, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl and Kazan. In 1842 he lithographed a hundred works for Count Anatoly Demidov's Excursion pittoresque et archeologique en Russie. One of N.B. Condition reports are available upon request.
