NEEDLEWORK - Early 19th c. Large Memorial Needlework by Alida Dunbar, (Alida Graverat Dunbar 1773-1840), this memorial was done for her father and mother Henry and Mary Graverat. It is silk embroidery, the background is watercolored with a blue sky and clouds, there is a central chapel, on the left of the chapel is script 'In Memory of Mary Graverat', and to the right a memorial script to Henry Graverat, set in an early lemon gold gilt frame, SS: 20" x 26", OS: 26 1/2" x 32 1/2", the watercolor needs restoration, water stain
