Drexler München' on the plinth The figure of a bear, one paw supported on a golden ball and seated on a rectangular decorated plinth, the figure of a satyr on his back Overall dimensions: 38 x 14 x 18,5 cm Good restored condition Condition: The figure is in good condition, showing some minor paint flaking and several touch-ups. The overall dimensions, including the base, are 38 x 14 x 18.5 cm (H x W x D). Franz Drexler (1857-1913) Franz Drexler studied at the Munich Academy and subsequently worked in Munich. He was one of the sculptors who were influenced by Adolf von Hildebrand in the 1890s. He created numerous designs for fountains and monuments, including the Pallas Athene on the Maximilian Bridge.
