      HOWELL DODD DRAWING Howell Dodd was an American magazine illustrator who worked under various pseudonyms for publications such as Cavalcade, Police Detective, Valor and Liberty in the 1940s and 1950s. During the Battle of Normandy, he worked as a war correspondent for the Associated Press. He made numerous sketches of battle scenes.
