    Giuseppe Diziani (Venezia 1732 - 1803) Assuero conferisce ad Aman i pieni poteri Olio su tela 54 x 71 cm L'opera è corredata da uno studio del Dottor Dario Succi, disponibile su richiesta via email. Figlio primogenito di Gaspare Diziani, Giuseppe seguì le orme paterne al pari di suo fratello Antonio. Risulta regolarmente iscritto alla fraglia dei pittori dal 1761 al 1773. Il catalogo dell'artista è scarso, e dopo la sparizione di Lot e le figlie, opera che Giuseppe donò all'Accademia, ricordiamo un gruppo di tele a Cividale e Udine databili verso il 1770, due tele nella chiesa di S. Ambrogio a Fiera di Treviso, mentre altre opere si conservano nelle Diocesi di Padova, Concordia-Pordenone e Bergamo. Alcuni disegni, di ottima qualità e un tempo confusi con quelli del padre Gaspare, sono conservati al Museo Correr di Venezia. According to that the work dates from the 1770s. - The intervention of Esther with the Persian king Ahasver avoided a pogrom planned by Ahasver's courtier Haman.
