CAROL DIEHL is an American artist, critic and poet. She is best known for her paintings which have often documented daily life using dense and painterly words, numbers and symbols in grid or geometric frameworks. Her work has been exhibited at the Queens Museum of Art; the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum; Sidney Janis Gallery, New York; the Berkshire Museum; and Richard Sena Gallery, among others. Reviews of her work have appeared in Art in America, ARTnews, the New York Times, the Village Voice, and the Chicago Tribune.
