Mieke DeWeerdt Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Mieke Deweerdt was born in Knokke Heist on August 11, 1981. Already since her childhood she was fascinated by art en made drawings, paintings and ceramic pieces. Between the age of 12 and 18, she followed evening courses at the Art Academy in Knokke-Heist. During four years she has followed her secondary education at the Technical Institute H. Family in Brugge where she studied Visual and Free Arts. Afterwards she followed four years of Sculpture and two years of teacher education at the Sint-Lucas institute in Ghent. For the collection New Design of Gardeco, Mieke created the sculptures 'Affection', 'Couple of Rings', 'Freedom of Movement 1, 2 & 3' , ‘Balance’
