Gisela Dester was a female cartoonist working in Argentinian comics. She has worked with Hugo Pratt since 1957 on serials like 'Sargento Kirk' and 'Ticonderoga'. She later continued 'Ticonderoga' on her own, from scripts by Hector German Oesterheld.

    Pencil, ink and watercolour on thin cardboard Original comic art done by Gisela Dester, Pratt's collaborator and companion during his stay in Argentina, for "El mundo de Ticonderoga", published for the first time in Argentina on Frontera Extra magazine n. 31 by Editorial Frontera in 1960. This series of pages, which served as a historical appendix to the stories of Ticonderoga Flint, were published in Italy (attributing the drawings to Hugo Pratt) in the volume "Ticonderoga" from the editions Il gatto e la volpe in 1981. Small tears on the edges.
