Deplechin', schauseitig betitelt. Über einem runden Sockel runde Plinthe mit der vollplastischen Aktdarstellung einer jungen Frau in gedrehter Haltung, auf einem Delfin in den Wellen stehend.       (1852 Roubaix - 1926 Thiais) "Amphitrite". Originaltitel Bronze, braun patiniert. Bez.; Meisterhaft modellierte Darstellung der antiken Meeresgöttin als stehende weibliche Aktfigur auf einem Delphin. Guss nach der berühmten Marmorstatue von 1893, welche sich heute im Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille befindet. Depléchin studierte unter E. Delaplanche an der Kunstakademie in Lille und war Preisträger des Salon des Artistes Francais und der Exposition Universelle in Paris. Seriennr. 5790/142. H. 24,5 cm. Brown patinated bronze. Inscribed. Serial no. 5790/142.
