Taormina. Blick vom Theater auf den Ätna" Condition: Perfect condition. Sheet edges are untrimmed. Description: Glued into the passe-partout is the painter's own handwritten dedication to a friend and the note of the previous owner dated 16.VI.1987, Regensburg. Demus completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 1984 with a diploma. Since then he has worked as a sculptor, painter and draftsman. Since 1981 he has produced a large number of etchings, with which he has become internationally known and is represented in the most important collections and museums worldwide. Represented in the following museums: London, British Museum - New York, Metropolitan Museum - New York, Museum of Modern Art - Vienna, Albertina - Vienna, Museum Leopold - Germany, Berlin Kupferstichkabinett - London, Victoria & Albert Museum - Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum - Rochester/USA, Memorial Art Gallery. Minimal red spots on the sheet margin in the upper right corner. Description: Diffuse impression of a meadow with low trees, perhaps fruit trees.
