Demarcy 1834'. Verso: Klebeetikett 'ARSÈNE BLAYE Papeterie [...] PARIS'. Halbporträt eines älteren Herren mit weißem Haar, blauem Rock und weißem Halstuch. Vor neutralem Hintergrund. Kleine Farbbereibungen im Randbereich. Hinter Glas mit Messingfassung in Holzrahmen gerahmt.

      AFTER ANTOINETTE-LOUISE DEMARCY OIL ON CANVAS (French, 1788-1859), an mid-19th century portrait of Elizabeth Brown Mullanphy. Canvas measures 30" x 25", unsigned. Set in a period gilt wood frame. Elizabeth was the wife of John Millanphy who emigrated from Ireland to American in 1792. In 1818 she moved to Paris and in 1836 moved to St. Louis, Missouri.
