Set of (9) 19th c. Edge toning; minor fading; one stained area near base of panel with figures; scratch at center left edge of panel with African Americans. These are from the original series of thirty-two Zuber & Co. panoramic panels, "Vues d'Amerique du Nord" (Views of North America), all based on paintings by Deltil, depicting scenes that appealed to 19th c. A full original set of these panels, salvaged from a house under demolition by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, is installed in the Diplomatic Reception Room at the White House.
