Kamy Deljou Sold at Auction Prices

Kamy has many well-known prints out and his art is produced at Deljou Art Group--the world's leading publisher of fine art, renowned throughout the industry and internationally and their printing technology is second to none. Kamy Deljou was born in Shiraz in October, 1957. He began his training at the Metier Guild and apprenticed at the Dariush Academy of Shiraz. He earned his mastership at Pahlavy University, famed for its modern art disciplines and its demanding standards of craft in a wide range of media: acrylics, pastels, oil, inlay, print making, and serigraphs. He arrived in the United States in 1979 and established his atelier at "Graphique Du Jour Studios," working with some of the most brilliant names in contemporary art. With artists like Lee White, Denis Assayac, and Ken Weaver, he developed innovative and original techniques combining ink, acrylic, and oil creating bold, elegant shapes and colors, rich in texture and patterns. In the process, Kamy has patented several printing techniques. Over the past decade he has exhibited his art throughout the U. S. and around the world.

Over time, Deljou expanded his creativity and artistry in the mediums of sculpture, three-dimensional art, photography, and mixed media using photographic digital prints. He has exhibited worldwide and continues to attract special commissions. Kamy Deljou makes time in his busy schedule to teach aspiring artists from Georgia State University and the the Atlanta College of Art.

      Signed lower left by the artist. Gold leaf framed with wrapped cream linen outer mat w/ gold fillet. Kamy Deljou was born in Shiraz, Iran in October 1957. He began his training through the Metier Guild and apprenticed at the Dariush Academy of Shiraz. He then progressed his Mastership at Pahlavy University, famed for its cultural and modern art disciplines as well as its demanding discipline to craft in a wide range of mediums; acrylics, pastels, oil inlays, printmaking and serigraphy. Kamy arrived in the United States in 1979 and established his atelier at Graphique Du Jour studios, working with some of the most brilliant names in contemporary art in the Southeastern United States. He developed innovative and original techniques combining ink, acrylic and oil, resulting in art distinguished by bold, elegant shapes and colors, rich in texture and patterns. In the process, Kamy has patented several printing techniques. Over the past decade he has traveled and exhibited his work in the United States and worldwide. His outstanding portfolio of originals bring special commissions from around the world.
