Pazzi De Peuter Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Pazzi De Peuter is a Belgian sculptress who lived and worked for 20 years in Carrara, Italy.

She graduated on the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, in the disciplines painting and sculpting. During her long career she specialized in carving marble, and started on an early age with experiments with polychrome sculptures.

Her works have a strong classical back-ground, and currently can be best described as modern figurative.

In her research she explored new techniques, developing Mosaic Marble sculptures and Mixed marble sculptures.

Among her big commissions are the polychrome wood sculptures she did for the Holy Trinity Church in Washington DC, which were completed in the year 2000, and received good critics in the Washington Post.

In 2005 she won the first prize for sculpture with a marble mosaic piece called ‘Egyptian queen’, on the first biennale of Genovarte at Genoa, Italy.
She did numerous shows and commissions in the United States, Italy, England, Spain and Belgium.

Currently she lives and works in Belgium, where she teaches Art in the Academy of Fine Arts in Lier, Belgium.
She works and sells from her studio at home.
