Gilt-metal frame, the reverse with brown velvet border surrounding a navette shaped aperture, glazed to reveal plaited hair; together with two further portrait miniatures of gentlemen, one Circle of James Scouler, the other Circle of John Comerford and two Continental School portrait miniatures of ladies, one signed on the reverse and dated H/ 1771 (cracked), the other circa 1820.
