"Our Dogs: Johnie; Foxy; Junior; Mut; Bullie; Mac; Spunky; Jack; Collie", a monumental oil on canvas, unsigned, housed in a grey and gold painted molded frame (note slightly arched top). OS: 72" x 65", SS: 68" x 61". This was in the collection of Albert M. Davis, founder of the A.M. Davis Greeting Card Co., and was on display at 'Crow's Nest', the Davis family compound in Northport, Maine.

WILL ROWLAND DAVIS (MA/ME, 1879-1974); Unhappy Winter Cat, graphite and colored pencil on illustration board, signed verso with his Jamaica Plain, MA address. Probably a magazine illustration. In gold stick frame, with integral grey spandrel, glazed. OS: 14" x 11 1/2", image size: 9 1/2" x 8" oval. Fine condition. Davis was a native of Lincolnville, Maine and returned late in his life. He published his self-illustrated semi-autobiograpical book "Village Downeast" under the nom de plume John Wallace in 1943.
