    Marguerite Davis (American, b. 1889) Two Christmas Designs for the Liberty Greeting Card Company: One Horse Open Sleigh and The Red Coach Both initialed "M.D." in pencil l.l. and inscribed "Liberty Greeting Card Company, Canton, Pa." in pencil on the reverse. Gouache and ink on paper, sizes to 8 3/4 x 12 5/8 in. (22.2 x 32.1 cm), framed. Condition: Glue stains to reverse. N.B. In 1926, Belmar Manufacturing Company in Canton, Pennsylvania, established the Liberty Greeting Card Company and operated the enterprise until 1934.
