      'A Surprise Party', artwork by Arthur Davenport Fuller, (1889-1966), commissioned by Hercules Powders, a chemical and munitions manufacturing company based in Wilmington, Delaware, 1920, framed, visible area 16.25 x 23.25 inches, overall area is 26 x 19 inches. Hercules was one of the major manufacturers for smokeless powder in American warfare in the 20th century. 2.5-inch tear at bottom margin. Not examined outside of frame. Ready for display.
