      1) Oil on board town scene shows a group of colorful buildings with grass covered landscape having a man resting with his dog. Signed lower right "Danovich". Housed in a carved old frame which has been stripped of its paint. 2) Oil on masonite self portrait from neck up. Housed in an antique Victorian frame. Unsigned but having attached to reverse an envelope with the artist name. 3) Charcoal sketch of a nighttime carnival scene showing a man with scale guessing the weight of the carnival goers. Unsigned. Housed in an antique lemon gold frame with glass front. NOTE: Accompanying this lot is a 9" x 6" photograph of the artist with a small biography. This WPA painter worked in Maine at the Varney farm in Turner, Maine painting and sketching that area. SIZE: 1) Sight: 18-1/2" x 23-1/2". 2) 10" x 8". 3) Sight: 8-1/2" x 10-1/2". CONDITION: 1) Slight warp to board, generally very good. 2) Surface with scrapes, scratches and one small hole in top edge. 3) Very good. 9-97885
