    Colourful pottery vase. Peter Daniels was born in new Westminister, BC in 1949. He attended high school in both White Rock and Dawson creek. His college days began at The Kooteney School of Art in Nelson, BC where he received a commercial art certificate, a fine art certificate, and a fine art diploma. Peter then went on to Notre Dame University where he graduated with a BFA. 

During his studies at the art school and University, he was awarded three grants to set up and teach arts and seminars around various rural communities in British Columbia. Upon completion of his university training, Peter went on to teach art at St. Michaels University school in Victoria, BC. Peter next was employed by solicitor general's department where he acted as an art instructor at Matsqui institution. He left teaching in 1981 to pursue his art career full-time North Surrey, BC. Peter dedicated himself to creating items in porcelain and stoneware. In 1986 his pottery was selected by the department of external affairs for their permanent collection. By 1987 Peter had begun watercolour and acrylic painting, In 1999, Daniels was nominated for the Saidye Bronfman award of excellence in ceramics. Around this time, Peter began to develop his skills in film and TV. By the year 2000, Peter was working in film, starting as a stand in, and then some stunt work, background, principal and voiceover work. Currently Peter has completed his fourth studio, where he has a hot glass studio, a pottery studio, sculpting studio and painting studio. A feature film on Peter’s career is being readied for production and release in the near future.
