In 4° (268 x 210 mm); 3 tomi in 6 volumi e l'atlante contenente le carte geografiche. Ritratto e 182 vedute, carte geografiche e tavole di costumi, in parte a doppia pagina o ripiegate, parzialmente a colori e una in seppia (sporadiche fioriture.) Legatura coeva in mezzo vitello color nocciola con angoli, fregi dorati e titolo su doppio tassello al dorso, tagli marmorizzati (spellature). Ex libris di John Broadhurst e tassello del libraio antiquario londinese Leslie.  Primo volume in seconda edizione, gli altri volumi in prima edizione. Lowndes 471: "Perhaps the most instructive and engaging book of travels ever published in this country". Riguarda la Russia, Turcha, Grecia, Egitto, Israele, Danimarca, Svezia, Finlandia, Norwegia e Lapponia con tra gli altri vedute della Crimea, delle isole greche, Mosca, Costantinopoli, Betlemme, Atene, Olimpia, Stoccolma e le mine di Falun.  (7)

Ce récit de voyage en Russie et en Crimée est une traduction de la première partie des Travels in various countries of Europa, Asia and Africa du minéralogiste E. D. Clarke (1767-1822). On doit les notes au comte d'Hauterive. Exemplaire tel que paru. Infime travail de ver aux pp. 49-70 du premier tome. Atabey, n°255 – Monglond, IX, 1014.

In 8° (203 x 125 mm); xviii, 559, [1]; [4], 500 pagine. 5 carte geografiche incise e ripiegate più volte (macchie prevalentemente nel secondo volume, fori di tarlo al margine bianco delle ultime carte del secondo volume.) Legatura coeva in cartonato marmorizzato, tassello al dorso (difetti al piatto anteriore di un volume).  Prima edizione francese di questa importante spedizione. L'opera contiene numerosi dettagli sulla geografia e la cultura dei paesi visitati.     brought from the shores of the Euxine, Archipelago, and Mediterranean, presentation copy to 'The Honourable Spencer Perceval from the Author' ; illustrations, slightly foxed, contemporary calf, gilt, joints cracking, worn, 8vo., Cambridge, 1809 Spencer Perceval was the only Prime Minister to be assassinated, shot in the lobby of the House of Commons, May 1812.
