        Depicting the Roman goddesses of war and peace either protecting or comforting children. Each signed "Dammouse" and dated "Sevres 1873". Framed 20" X 16.5". Albert Louis Dammouse was the son of the Sevres pâte-sur-pâte artist Pierre-Adolphe Dammouse and studied under his father and Marc Louis Solon. The date of these plaques coincides with the first year in which Albert Louis Dammouse is known to have exhibited his own work. He would go on to win prix d'honneur at the Union Central in 1875.
