Date: 19th century Description: Half-length portrait of the royal personal physician Bernhard von HARTZ, who was in the service of Maximilian I (1756 Schwetzingen-1825 Munich). The sitter wears a coat around his shoulders, his gaze goes over his left shoulder out of the picture space and thus does not meet the viewer's gaze.
