Chiaroscuro woodcut printed in black and brown inks from two blocks, oval. 19.3 x 23.6 cm. Bartsch XII, p. 56, 12 - A very fine and strong impression with small margins around the borderline. Subtle foxing mainly at lower margin. The verso with uniform subtle foxing and some occasional stains. Overall in good condition. Provenance: - Collection of E. Fabricius (- around 1920), Berlin, Lugt 847a. - Collection of Philipp Herrmann (1899-1968), Karlsruhe, Lugt 1352a. --------------- ANTONIO DA TRENTO (Trient, um 1520–1555 Fontainebleau) Die Madonna mit dem Jesuskind und Johannesknaben. Bartsch XII, S. 56, 12. - Sehr schöner und kräftiger Druck mit kleinem Rand um die Einfassungslinie. Dezente Stockfleckchen überwiegend am unteren Rand. Die Rückseite gleichmässig dezent stockfleckig und stellenweise etwas fleckig. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung. Provenienz: - Sammlung E.
