Künstlerinfo: geborene Irmgard Cuz Heinemann, deutsch-guatemaltekische Malerin (1927 Secoyocte, Municipio de Senahú, in Alte Verapaz, Guatemala bis 2019 Panajachel, Guatemala), wuchs auf einer Kaffeeplantage auf, kam als siebenjährige zu ihren Vater nach Deutschland, ihr Vater, ein Fotograf, brachte ihr das Handwerk bei, Beschäftigung mit der Malerei, 1950 Heirat mit Georg Schaefer, 1971 Umsiedlung nach Guatemala und Eröffnung des Kunstzentrums La Galerie Nan Cuz, welches heute von ihrem Sohn geleitet wird, Quelle: Wikipedia.
