Nice piece of original, signed artwork. Oil on Canvas. Measures 25" x 40" with rustic frame. Western Frontier painting of a stagecoach pursued by mounted Plains Indians. Signed "Curtin" lower right corner. The signature resembles that of famous Vermont landscape artist, Thomas R. Curtin (1899-1977), but does not include the artists full name, as expected on his original artwork. The subject matter and style are also not consistent with Thomas Curtain's other works. This piece strongly resembles the famous 1912 piece by Richard Lorenz, titled: Stagecoach Pursued by Mounted Indians". Date: Country (if not USA): State: City: Provenance:
