    DEREK CULLEY (b. 1952) IRISH TAMH-LACHT, 4 from a

    Est: £800 - £1,200

DEREK CULLEY (b. 1952) IRISH TAMH-LACHT, 4 from a series of 14, 2010/2011. Acrylic and microcemento. 48 x 30ins. Unframed. A set of 4. Note: As a child I went to school in Tallaght, when Tallaght was a small village. 59 years old, this dates me to when Tallaght's main building was the Dominican Monastery (it's always been called "The Monastery" in my house). Always a place of mystery, I used to love climbing over the Monastery wall liberating its chestnuts. Unlike the church in Walkinstown (then a new town) I used to find peace of mind in the Dominican Chapel. These 4 paintings are part of a series of 14 paintings.
