Vorliegende Zeichnung entstand vermutlich in Vorbereitung einer Illustration zum 12. Teil der von Christian Felix Weißes herausgegebenen Kinderzeitung "Der Kinderfreund" (lt. Angabe des Vorbesitzers). Beigegeben eine Federzeichnung von Johann Conrad Krüger "Familienbesuch" wohl ebenfalls ein Entwurf für eine Illustration in Weißes "Kinderfreund". ?
