Joseph Crawhall II (1821-1896) - A group of seven sketches, including several figure and animal studies, each inscribed in pencil as from an early SketchBook, pencil, coloured pencils, pen and ink, watercolour, on various papers, largest 170 x 190 mm. (6 3/4 x 7 1/2 in); with a group of three black chalk drawings by Mary Elizabeth Crawhall (J.Crawhall s sister), including two decorative floral designs, both signed and dated 1851 in red pencil, and a study of an antique bust, initialled and indistinctly dated 1851 (?) , various sizes, largest 24 x 18 cm.
