      Patinated bronze Italy, 1994 Romano Costi (1940-2014) – Italian sculptor Signed ‘Costi’ on top of the plinth At the edge of the plinth numbered ‘97/99’ and ‘87017’ as well as with foundry mark of the Kunstgießerei Strassacker Number 97 from a limited edition of 99 With certificate from the Kunstgießerei Strassacker Height: 27 cm Very good condition This work by Romano Costi titled ‘Vierjahreszeiten – Frühling’ (Four Seasons – Spring) was created in 1994. It was cast in the traditional technique of the lost form by the German foundry Strassacker. The sculpture depicts a young woman, emerging from a rose bush, as an allegory of spring. Works by the Italian sculptor can be admired all over the world from New York to Buenos Aires, to Paris and London. The bronze is signed ‘Costi’ on top of the plinth as well as numbered ‘97/99’ and ‘87017’ and bearing the foundry mark at the edge of the plinth. It is in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear. The height is 27 cm. (tfa) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
