      John Scott Clubb (1875 - 1934) "Three Men In a Boat" Ink & Graphite on Paper. John Scott Clubb showed a talent for caricature early in his childhood. He would go on to attended art school at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and then the Art Students League in New York City before returning to Rochester. He began his career in 1900 at The Rochester Herald where he stayed until 1926. From 1926-1934, he was a cartoonist at the Rochester Times-Union. His cartoons were reproduced in magazines and newspapers nationwide.
