Joy Mary Clements Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Joy Mary Clements was born in Kingston but grew up in Kingston on Thames. Clements has been painting since the early 1970’s when she began studying with the artist John Turner RUA. Early in her career, Joy was highly influenced by the writings of Carl Gustav Jung and solely believed that art was all about capturing the essence of the subject.

Clements subjects include figure work (mainly children), portraiture and still life. She is now past president of the Ulster Watercolour Society and the USWA. Joy’s work is shown annually in exhibitions in places such as the Royal Ulster Academy and also in major Ulster galleries.
