Only in places the areas are filled with fine ornamental drawing so that a contrast to the blank areas is created. Jürgen Claus (b. 1935) studied from1954 to 1960 at the universities of Munich and Marburg. In the 1970s, he developed a new multimedial concept for an environmental art, which he brought together with research. From 1991 to 2000 he was professor of media arts at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. This India ink pen drawing is signed lower right with ink ‘Claus 1965’. The sheet margins and edges are with minor signs of age and use. The overall condition is good. The sheet measures 45 x 62.5 cm.
