Born in Belfast in 1962 Patricia studied at Edinburgh and Belfast Colleges of Art from 1979-1983.
She has worked in Edinburgh, London, Achill Island and most recently Belfast. Her current work combines keen observation with more abstract elements to convey her responses to landscape, memory and the sea.

She has received awards from both the Arts Council for Northern Ireland and the Irish Arts Council and was a prize winner in the 1998 ‘New Art of the Irish’ Exhibition sponsored by Bass Ireland who also own her work. She is married to the Scottish painter Malcom Clarke.
