Artist Russell Chatham is the grandson of famous landscape painter Gottardo Piazzoni and was self-taught and inspired by his grandfather's art from an early age. His art comes from vision and feeling. Russell Chatham's prints reflect his love of the outdoors, in particular fishing, and he often paints the seascapes and landscapes of areas he's visited. As an avid outdoorsman, artist Russell Chatham has also written a series of published stories about his friends' hunting and fishing trips.

Russell Chatham's lithographs are as detailed and vibrant as his paintings, showing his discipline and the years spent improving his printing technique.
