Richard Gabriel Chase Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Born in Massachusetts, Richard Gabriel Chase (American, 1919-2007) first studied at the Worcester Art Museum School, later earning his degree from Massachusetts College of Art. After serving in the Army during WWII, he moved to southern California where he continued to paint, exhibit and teach life-drawing and portraiture at San Bernardino College. Chase favored painted landscapes, still lives and coastal scenes and was also commissioned to create large-scale, historical murals which remain installed in numerous public locations in Southern California.
