Measurements: Height: by sight 31 3/8 in. x Width: 41 3/8 in. Condition: Overall good condition, stain center of top edge, minor craquelure, foxing to mat, wear to frame.         Cheyenne by Dean Chapman (1937 - 2001) after Charles Bierstadt, 24" x 48" oil on board in new 3 5/8" gold ribbed frame. Dean Chapman was active/lived in Georgia. Dean Chapman is known for western genre, cowboy paintings. Dean called himself a half-breed, because he was half Creek and half Chocktaw. He was a very talented native American artist. This painting is a Bierstadt subject, but with all the flavor only Dean could show.
