    Oil on canvas Germany, Berlin, 2010 Mimmo Catania (b. 1955) – Italian painter, graphic artist, drawer and installation artist, lives in Berlin since 1984 On the reverse titled and dated ‘Visitors ’10 (How many perspectives do you need!)’ as well as signed ‘M Catania ’10’ Dimensions of canvas: 120.2 x 90.1 cm Very good condition ‘Visitors’ is a painting by Italian artist Mimmo Catania and is mainly executed in various shades of blue. The large-scale work depicts in worm’s eye view four figures in the background of an interior, their backs turned towards the viewer. As pendant the foreground shows the contours of five stacks of plates. On the reverse the work is titled and dated ‘Visitors ’10 (How many perspectives do you need!)’ as well as signed ‘M Catania ’10’. It is in a very good condition with minimal signs of age and wear. The dimensions of the canvas measure 120.2 x 90.1 cm. (nlu) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance. Catania ‘05’ on verso Dimensions: 60 x 80.5 cm Good condition Offered here is a painting by Italian artist Mimmo Catania created in the year 2005. Two glasses of Vine appear before a red background that looks like closed shutters. Catania chose for this composition a low-angle perspective which makes the observer take a very narrow view from below, looking at two glasses of vine that seem to stand at the edge of a table. The painting is titled, dated and signed ‘Twins '05 - M. Catania ‘05’ on verso. It is in good condition, few touch ups in the edges visible under UV.
